2nd, 3rd and 4th-Generation wireless Internet devices.
In November 2004, Telecom New Zealand launched a range of 3G wireless services.
The expectations set of 3G phone networks include high-speed broadband access of up to 2 Mb per second.
4G systems are likely to incorporate global positioning services (GPS). Convergence of services including television and satellite communications however are not likely to be realised until 2010.
