appy New Year! ’07 kicks off with a hiss and a roar for the good ship MarineVille. On Feb 3rd (Auckland) and Feb 9th (Wgtn) we play with German based expatriate Graeme Jefferies aka The Cakekitchen.

Graeme seldom returns to home base and this is a rare chance to hear the old classics like ‘Dave the Pimp’ live, plus MV have a bunch of new songs in the pocket.

MarineVille this time round will be Mark Williams (gtr, vox), Greg Cairns (drums) and Rebecca Rice (bass). Mark and Greg have been holed up for the past few months arranging new material and we hope the set will be 75% new. It’s all new to Rebecca of course who is playing bass in lieu of Bevan Smith’s commitments overseas with Signer and Over the Atlantic. But we hope to see Bevan back in the fold as well as Bex over the next few months.

For these shows we’ll also be joining Graeme onstage for a few songs, including a track off Paul McCartney’s ‘Ram’ album. Should be fun.
