This covers the ground between early Go-Betweens and Television, and they cover Final Solution‚ live, which gives you even more of an idea. Pretty worthwhile song writing, incendiary playing, decent non-flashy production make this well worth examination. No I don't mean it's retro‚ it's just situated in the frame of reference of a specific era.
