John Can't Sleep

John can't sleep, that's what he tells us;
three hours Friday, six on Thursday, none on Wednesday

John can't sleep, and he tried to read, tried cups of tea,
but nothing doing, John can't sleep.

And it's wearing him down.

It's wearing him down, I just went around to see if he felt like drinking the day,
but he'll take his kava instead, he's going to bed and he's waiting for sleep...

We put on some Smog and then some Motorhead, John's eyes started to droop.
So I tip toed out the door hoping Lemmy might take him all the way ...
to Hammersmith.
